🦋 DEATH'S HEAD MOTH DAMASK WALL STENCIL

Create a dramatic gothic feature wall with our Death's Head Moth Damask Stencil – an ornate repeating design combining a skull moth with classic damask-inspired flourishes.

Designed to repeat seamlessly both horizontally and vertically, one reusable stencil is all you need to continue the pattern across a feature wall, bedroom, hallway, furniture and more.

Paint it in classic black, deep green, rich red, metallics or any colour combination to suit your interior.

📏 THREE REPEAT SIZES

Choose how bold you want your finished pattern to be:

LARGE
36 × 36 cm / 14 × 14"

XL
54 × 54 cm / 21.3 × 21.3"

XXL
77 × 77 cm / 30.3 × 30.3"

Measurements refer to the pattern repeat area. Please see the listing images to compare how each size looks when repeated across a wall.

🔁 EASY SEAMLESS REPEAT

The design has been carefully created so the pattern aligns at the edges.

Simply:

1. POSITION – Secure the stencil to your wall with low-tack tape.
2. PAINT – Apply a light coat of paint using a high density foam roller.
3. REPEAT – Reposition the stencil, align the pattern at the edge and continue across your wall.

The same process works both horizontally and vertically, allowing you to cover as much or as little of the wall as you like.

🎨 PAINT IT YOUR WAY

Unlike wallpaper, a stencil lets you choose the colours.

Try black over a warm neutral for a classic gothic look, black over deep green for something dark and dramatic, or a lighter stencil colour over a dark wall for a completely different effect.

It's also easy to repaint your wall in the future and use the stencil again in another colour.

✨ REUSABLE MYLAR STENCIL

Made from durable, flexible Mylar, the stencil can be cleaned and reused many times with care.

Ideal for:

Gothic & alternative interiors • Feature walls • Bedrooms • Hallways • Furniture • Halloween décor • Victorian-inspired rooms • Dark maximalist interiors

🖌️ TIPS FOR THE BEST RESULTS

For best results, ensure your wall or surface is flat and smooth. Textured or uneven walls can prevent the stencil sitting flat and increase the risk of paint bleed and also effect alignment of pattern repeats.

Use a high density foam roller for larger areas or a stencil brush for smaller/detail areas. Remove excess paint from your roller before stencilling – several light applications give much cleaner results than one heavy coat.

Carefully remove the stencil while the paint is still slightly damp, reposition accurately by aligning the edge of the design and continue your pattern.

One stencil. Three size options. Endless possibilities.

A bold alternative to wallpaper that lets you create a completely personalised gothic interior.

Stenciling is really fun and simple and you can add amazing effects to 100's of home decorating projects.

1 - Position your stencil: Use low tack tape or repositionable spray mount to keep your stencil in place

2 - Paint your stencil: Depending on your project or preferences you can use a stencil brush, dense foam roller, or spray paint to paint your stencil

3 - Repeat your stencil: Repeat your pattern or motif over and over again. When you have finished, water based paints can be soaked/washed off the stencil and then stored away safe for future use

Top tip: Don't us too much paint! This will cause paint to seep under the stencil and cause blotchy edges.

Our stencils are also suitable for many other uses as varied as cake decorating, embossing and relief stenciling with plaster.

See our HOW TO section and BLOG for further stenciling information.
