LONG HANDLE STENCIL BRUSH

A traditional natural bristle stencil brush with a longer wooden handle, providing a comfortable grip and excellent control when painting through stencils.

The firm, flat-ended bristles allow paint to be applied gradually and evenly, making these brushes particularly useful for detailed areas, lettering, borders and decorative stencil work.

1/2 inch
Ideal for fine details, smaller lettering and intricate stencil areas.

3/4 inch
A versatile all-round stencil brush suitable for a wide variety of designs.

1 inch
Ideal for larger stencil elements and areas where greater coverage is required.

HOW TO USE

Apply a small amount of paint to the end of the brush and offload excess paint onto paper towel before painting. Using too much paint is one of the main causes of paint bleed.

Apply the paint using a gentle stippling or circular motion, building the colour gradually. Two lighter coats will always give a much cleaner result than one heavy coat.

Reusable — clean thoroughly after use and allow to dry naturally.

Stenciling is really fun and simple and you can add amazing effects to 100's of home decorating projects. 

1 - Position your stencil: Use low tack tape or repositionable spray mount to keep your stencil in place

2 - Paint your stencil: Depending on your project or preferences you can use a stencil brush, dense foam roller, or spray paint to paint your stencil

3 - Repeat your stencil: Repeat your pattern or motif over and over again. When you have finished, water based paints can be soaked/washed off the stencil and then stored away safe for future use

Top tip: Don't us too much paint! This will cause paint to seep under the stencil and cause blotchy edges.

Our stencils are also suitable for many other uses as varied as cake decorating, embossing and relief stenciling with plaster.

SHORT HANDLE STENCIL BRUSH

A traditional natural white hog bristle stencil brush of exceptional quality designed for controlled paint application when stencilling. The short wooden handle gives excellent control and makes the brush comfortable to hold when stippling or working the paint in a gentle circular motion.

The firm, flat-ended natural bristles are ideal for applying small amounts of paint, helping achieve crisp stencil results while reducing the risk of paint bleeding underneath the stencil.
