Create a beautiful botanical feature wall with our Agapanthus Wall Mural Stencil Kit. Inspired by tall flowering Agapanthus growing naturally through layers of sweeping foliage, this reusable stencil set lets you create a large-scale floral mural without wallpaper or complicated freehand painting.

The mural is created from a small collection of reusable stencil elements. Simply repeat and combine the foliage, stems, flower heads and buds to create a design that flows naturally across your wall.

Our largest kit for creating a dramatic full-height botanical mural.
Highest flower approximately 180 cm (71") high.

MURAL REGULAR – LOWER WALL
A reduced-size version, ideal for creating a lower botanical mural or decorative garden-style border.
Highest flower approximately 125 cm (49") high.

Please note: These heights are approximate. The final height will vary depending on how you position and combine the stems and flower heads.

🌸 SIMPLE TO CREATE

Although the finished mural has the appearance of a large hand-painted botanical design, it is surprisingly simple to create.

1. Build the ground foliage
Repeat the large and small ground leaf clusters along the bottom of your wall. Allow some leaves to overlap as you work for a fuller, more natural appearance.

2. Add the stems
Position the different stem lengths amongst the foliage. Vary the heights and spacing to add interest and create a natural flow across the wall.

3. Add the flowers & buds
Finish with the large and small Agapanthus flower heads and buds. Angle the flower heads in the direction of the stems to create movement and a more natural-looking composition.

Paint the complete design in one colour for a simple botanical silhouette, or use different colours for the flowers and foliage.

✨ REUSABLE STENCIL

Made from durable, flexible 190 micron Mylar, the stencils can be cleaned and reused many times.

Unlike a wall decal or wallpaper, the finished mural is painted directly onto your wall, giving you complete freedom over the colour, positioning and overall size of your design.

🖌️ FOR BEST RESULTS

For best results ensure your wall/surface is flat and smooth. Textured walls can prevent the stencil from sitting flat and increase the risk of paint bleed.

Use a high density foam roller for larger areas and a stencil brush for small or detailed areas. Apply paint sparingly to avoid paint bleed, and offload excess paint from your brush or roller onto paper towel before painting. Two light coats will always give a much cleaner result than one heavy coat.

Secure your stencil with low-tack tape and carefully remove it while the paint is still slightly damp.

Stenciling is really fun and simple and you can add amazing effects to 100's of home decorating projects.

1 - Position your stencil: Use low tack tape or repositionable spray mount to keep your stencil in place

2 - Paint your stencil: Depending on your project or preferences you can use a stencil brush, dense foam roller, or spray paint to paint your stencil

3 - Repeat your stencil: Repeat your pattern or motif over and over again. When you have finished, water based paints can be soaked/washed off the stencil and then stored away safe for future use

Top tip: Don't us too much paint! This will cause paint to seep under the stencil and cause blotchy edges.
