The Border options contain the complete woodland scene on one stencil design. Simply reposition and repeat it along your wall.

The larger Mural options are supplied as 2 coordinating stencil sheets. Alternate the two designs as you work across the wall to create a varied, continuous woodland meadow rather than repeating exactly the same scene each time.

🎨 Two Lovely Ways to Use It

Paint the stencil directly onto a plain wall for a soft, delicate woodland border.

Or create a contrasting half-wall colour band first and stencil the woodland scene along the top edge. This gives the animals and foliage a lovely grounded appearance, as though they are emerging from the painted colour below.

The Mural sizes also look fantastic positioned along the bottom of the wall, creating a much larger floor-level woodland scene. If you'd prefer the mural higher up, simply paint a colour band beneath it and position the stencil along the top of the band – see our listing images for inspiration.

🌿 Easy to Repeat

The design has been created to flow naturally from one section to the next.

Position your stencil, secure it with low-tack masking tape, paint the design, then reposition the stencil along the wall and continue.

For the Mural versions, simply alternate Sheet 1 and Sheet 2 as you go.

🖌️ Stencilling Tips

For the cleanest finish, stencil onto a flat, smooth wall. Textured or uneven surfaces can prevent the stencil from sitting flat against the wall and may increase the risk of paint bleed. Use a high density foam roller for larger areas and a stencil brush for smaller, more detailed sections. Always use a light amount of paint – several light coats will give a much cleaner result than one heavy coat.

Low-tack masking tape can be used to hold the stencil in place, and a light mist of repositionable spray adhesive can also help on suitable surfaces.

Carefully remove the stencil while the paint is still damp and allow it to dry before repeating the design.

Your stencil is made from durable, flexible Mylar, so it can be repositioned and reused to continue the pattern across as much of your wall as required.

Wash carefully after use and keep it flat for future projects.

Stenciling is really fun and simple and you can add amazing effects to 100's of home decorating projects.

1 - Position your stencil: Use low tack tape or repositionable spray mount to keep your stencil in place

2 - Paint your stencil: Depending on your project or preferences you can use a stencil brush, dense foam roller, or spray paint to paint your stencil

3 - Repeat your stencil: Repeat your pattern or motif over and over again. When you have finished, water based paints can be soaked/washed off the stencil and then stored away safe for future use

Top tip: Don't us too much paint! This will cause paint to seep under the stencil and cause blotchy edges.
